Opening Night: Colin Hanks presents ALL THINGS MUST PASS at Brava Theater

Thursday June 4, 8p (sharp!) DocFest is pleased to be able to be presenting actor Colin Hank’s debut feature documentary about Northern California’s beloved Tower Records called ALL THINGS MUST PASS.

The doors open at 7p at until show time we’ll be serving complimentary wine courtesy of DARK HORSE WINES.

From its humble beginnings in a small-town drugstore in Sacramento, Tower Records eventually became the heart and soul of the music world, and a powerful force in the music industry with hundreds of stores around the world. In 1999, Tower Records made $1 billion. In 2006, the company filed for bankruptcy. What went wrong? Everyone thinks they know what killed Tower Records: The Internet. But that’s not the full story as All Things Must Pass examines the iconic company’s explosive trajectory, tragic demise and legacy forged by its rebellious founder, Russ Solomon.
