The short film — what a perfect genre. Like the perfect snack. Or the very best poem: intensity and imagination distilled down to the most crucial and poignant of words. Short films are the quintessential starting point, and for some filmmakers, the definitive end goal.
San Francisco IndieFest is thrilled to announce the return of the SF Short Film Festival which will present 140 independent short length films from around the world presented both live and virtually.
This year, the Short Film Festival will present 140 films in 20 thematic programs online at sfindie.com playing on demand from September 17-26. The festival will also present 10 programs live at the Roxie Theater September 17-19.
The festival has films from Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Italy, Lebanon, Netherlands, Philippines, Portugal, Russian Federation, Singapore, Spain, United Kingdom and United States and 35 films from the San Francisco Bay Area.
