Opening Night

This year the festival will kick off on Friday, December 5th at 9:00PM at the New People Cinema in San Francisco with the feature film AFTERIMAGES, a collection of supernatural ghost stories from Singapore. Watch as these “ghost stories from hell” appear in the ashes after a group of film students burn paper effigy cameras as offerings to the dead.

Shot entirely on an iPhone 4S, this film follows a vengeful high school senior who kidnaps a fellow student and soon encounters dark secrets about the town’s most haunted house.
