It’s the 21st San Francisco Independent Film Festival and Have We Got a Fest for You

Step into a whirwind of: relationship drama, self exploration, immigrant exploitation, self-destructive young people, forest fire fighters, underground abortion assistants, The Bigfoot, dolls acting badly, Islamophobia, the proto-desert festival, frats acting badly, a teen yogi, AI on trial, addiction, cults, daddy issues, obssession, dystopia, and the desire to just improve one’s circumstances.

Along for the ride are Tessa Thompson, Sam Elliot, Mira Sorvino, James LeGros, Lily James, Patricia Arquette, Dan Harmon, Thurston Moore, Mike Watt, Blixa Bargeld, Survival Research Lab’s Mark Pauline, and many many more amazing actors, performers and storytellers.

Our special events include an extra-trippy electronica re-scoring of Fantasia, a live on-stage shadow cast presentation of The Big Lebowski, Beetlejuice Bingo, Bad Art Gallery, a live screenplay read, a live-in-VR short film series, the Anti-Valentine’s Day 80s Power Ballad Sing-A-Long, and our annual live comedy improv send up of the Super Bowl.
